Dani MacPherson, Optometric Assistant, VT Program Co-ordinator

Dani was born in exotic Nova Scotia and relocated to Vancouver in 2001. She has been working in the Optometric field since 2005 and completed her Certified Optometric Assistant Diploma in 2007 before joining us here at the clinic in early 2008.

Her duties here include front reception, pre-testing, and administrative duties with respect to patient recalls, contact lens orders, and customer service. Dani also acts as the co-ordinator for our Vision Training (VT) program. This involves administering tests and assisting in many aspects of vision training.

Outside the office Dani enjoys travelling and music and she is looking forward to joining us for a volunteer trip abroad to help people in Third World countries by examining their eyes and providing donated glasses.
